Convergys announced that it has implemented and integrated its Infinys billing solution to support Croatia's Metronet telekomunikacije, which serves the main metropolitan areas of Croatia. Infinys will be used for triple play billing. As a means to that end, Convergys integrated Infinys with Metronet's order management and customer relationship management systems. Convergys also configured and developed a bill post processor to serve as an interface process from bill generation to bill fulfillment.

Convergys has implemented its Infinys rating and billing software at ONO, a broadband communications operator in Spain. Convergys is providing convergent billing across all of ONO's services, thus bolstering it’s the company’s triple play offerings. ONO provides direct access telecommunications, cable television, and high-speed Internet access to over 2 million residential customers in Spain.

Mobile operator Cosmote Romania has selected LHS' billing and customer care BSCS 8 system to replace its previous legacy system. The system implementation was completed by Atos Origin.

Vendor: Valista
mBlox is deploying Valista's end-to-end payment platform to support its next-generation mobile billing services, including WAP billing. The technology processes and routes direct billing transactions to the correct operator, which then charges consumers on their monthly phone bill. The technology also enables accurate settlement across a wide variety of payment channels and transport protocols. mBlox is currently the largest processor of premium SMS transactions in the world, clearing and settling transactions with a retail value of $400m in 2005.

Intec announced that Lannet, an alternative provider offering fixed telephony and internet ADSL services to retail and corporate customers in Greece, has gone live with Intec Convergent Billing (Singl.eView) for billing, customer management and revenue management.

Finland-based telecom Elisa Corp. has chosen the Microsoft Customer Care Framework 2005 platform for its contact center. The product handles customer inquiries from multiple channels, such as Web portal, e-mail, phone and self service. The solution enables different CRM strategies and customer care profiles to work together. The new platform will be used by more than 2,500 CSRs in Elisa’s contact centers and those of its enterprise customers.

Telecom Argentina is deploying Microsoft Customer Care Framework 2005 to improve efficiency and revitalize obsolete support systems in six of its trouble-ticketing call centers across the country. The deployment is expected to be completed by November 2006. The six call centers implementing Customer Care Framework previously handled customers’ technical difficulties with as many as 25 support applications managing up to 10,000 customer requests per day.

McGraw Communications, a full-service voice and data telecommunications provider serving the U.S. business community, has implemented Vertek’s Managed Financial Assurance Program (MFAP). The program offers a hosted data management platform offering cost management and vendor invoice administration, revenue assurance, product profitability and margin analysis.

Vendor: Boost Mobile
Boost Mobile has selected CheckfreePay to enable its customers to add minutes to their cellular phones. The technology delivers an immediate cash recharge of wireless minutes without requiring a PIN or credit card. CheckFreePay has more than 11,000 agent sites in the US for in-person payments.

General Post and Telecommunications Company (GPTC), the main telecom operator in Libya, has selected Telarix’s iXTools in an effort to expand its international carrier business and enhance the performance of its interconnect systems. GPTC will leverage Telarix’s next generation routing optimization solutions to further streamline and automate the carrier’s routing processes.

France's Completel will deploy the Cramer6 OSS Suite. Completel will use Cramer6 OSS Suite and Oracle's Siebel CRM to support its triple play offering. Completel is an alternative provider of fiber-based telecom services for the enterprise, government and wholesale carrier markets, serving 2,500 large customers in nine cities. Completel has committed to Cramer as its single end-to-end fulfillment solution to drive network expansion into 110 cities.

Customer: NuVox Communicatons
Vendor: Syndesis
NuVox Communications, a provider of voice, data, and security services to business customers throughout the U.S. Southeast and Midwest, has selected Syndesis for a multi-phase convergent service delivery management project. A future phase of projects will include the implementation of Syndesis NetProvision for VoIP service delivery and other next-generation offerings. NuVox had previously deployed Syndensis for auto-discovery and reconciliation.
Customer: T-Mobile Czech Republic
Vendor: Cramer and Micromuse
Cramer and Micromuse (recently acquired by IBM), announced they will install an integrated service management platform at T-Mobile Czech Republic. The joint solution is designed to provide a unified network configuration management and service assurance strategy. IBM Global Services will be involved in the deployment.

Sudanese Telecom (Sudatel), the Sudanese incumbent operator, has signed an agreement with Comptel to provide mediation and provisioning solutions for its new CDMA network. Sudatel previously deployed Comptel's convergent mediation solutions for PSTN services.

ntl:Telewest, the largest cable operator in the UK, has selected the Brix System to monitor the quality of its MPLS core network. ntl:Telewest offers a triple-play bundle of broadband Internet, digital TV, and telephone services to more than 12 million homes.
Customer: Burmuda CableVision
Vendor: JacobsRimell
Bermuda CableVision has selected JacobsRimell’s APS 'QuickStart,' the latest version of its Automated Provisioning System. The solution is an automated and integrated platform designed to manage all of CableVisions HSD subscribers, as well as provision all HSD-related services.
Bermuda Cablevision provides digital cable services, including television, music, games, pay-per-view and seasonal sports packages, DVR service, HDTV channels and local channels. Bermuda CableVision is now introducing a HSD service between the customer and local ISPs.

Vodafone Egypt has deployed Evolving Systems Tertio Content Connector solution which increases an operator’s ability to provision content services. Vodafone Egypt selected Evolving Systems’ product to enhance its existing Tertio Service Activation solution. The initial phase supports push-to-talk services.

Easynet, a pan-European data networks company owned by broadcast corporation BSkyB, has expanded its existing Telcordia Granite Inventory deployment and also purchased Telcordia Expediter to streamline order management and automate its end-to-end fulfillment processes.

Vendor: Axiom Systems, Inoven and Accenture
Axiom Systems, Inoven and Accenture will all be invlved in the implementation of the AXIOSS platform with AOL in France. The platform will enable the design, creation and delivery of all new IP and broadband services. AOL, assisted by Inoven for the Program Management and Accenture, will use AXIOSS as a single standardized OSS platform to support its current applications.
