Brightpoint, CLEAR Wireless Announce Logistics Deal

Brightpoint (CELL) has entered into a logistics fulfillment and services agreement with CLEAR Wireless in support of its next-generation mobile WiMAX network.

Brightpoint will provide a comprehensive logistics solution for several of CLEAR's distribution sales channels, including Web-based and EDI ordering capabilities, distribution and fulfillment. Services will include inventory management, order processing, product fulfillment, customer care support, invoicing, credit/collections, and reverse logistics support.

Clearwire, doing business as CLEAR Wireless for its WiMAX rollout, announced earlier this month that it was selling the service in Atlanta, following its Portland, Ore., launch in January.
