Veramark TEM Rated Avaya Compliant

TEM provider Veramark Technologies Inc. (VERA.OB) announced that its VeraSMART Communications Management Suite is compliant with certain IP telephony solutions from Avaya.

VeraSMART helps organizations gain visibility into their communications networks and reduce expenses associated with the voice, data and wireless services and infrastructure. The application now is compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya's Communication Manager 5.1 (R015x.01.0.414.3 w/ SP 15962).

“As an OEM partner to Avaya since 1984, Veramark has a long-standing relationship with Avaya customers and an ongoing commitment to help them reduce their telecommunication costs,” said Tony Mazzullo, Veramark’s president and chief executive officer. “Compliance with Avaya’s telephony solutions is a key requirement for each release of our VeraSMART software and allows us to continue to meet the telecom expense management needs of companies that use Avaya Communication Manager 5.1,” said Mazzullo.

Veramark is a member of the Avaya DevConnect program — an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company’s investment in its network. As a Platinum member of the program, Veramark is eligible to submit products for compatibility testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab in Lincroft, N.J. There, a team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive test plan for each application to verify whether it is Avaya compliant.
