Giving Microsoft just one star out of four, the EFF said the Redmond, Wash.-based software giant will fight for user privacy in Congress, but not in the courts. The watchdog group also says Microsoft does not have a history of being transparent about government requests nor does the company pass the test when it comes to telling users about data demands.
