Battling strong competition from Samsung and Apple, the HTC Evo 4G LTE – released in late May – fell from second place to third at Sprint. This Evo didn't get a price cut in July; Sprint kept it at $200, which is probably too much to keep it among the top sellers in August. After a big June that saw three HTC devices among the Big Four's elite, that number dropped to two in July and is likely to fall again if the manufacturer doesn't come out with something new.
