AMS WINS US WEST PCS CONTRACT

American Management Systems (AMS) was awarded a multi-million dollar contract to develop the customer care and billing platform for US West Communications' new PCS services. The new system will be based upon AMS' Mobile2000 product and will be integrated with US West's existing wireline systems. The new package will provide automated access to switches for customer activations as well as number activity management, billing, and service request processing.
