PAC BELL USES ORACLE FOR PCS SUPPORT

Pacific Bell Mobile Services, which launched its PCS service November 1, is using Oracle Corp. products as the basis of its new infrastructure. Pac Bell has used the Oracle7 database server, Oracle web server, and the Designer/2000 development toolkit to implement customer billing, customer service and network management. Pac Bell will eventually use Oracle systems to offer customers secure access to account information via the World Wide Web.
