VISA USA, CABLEDATA ANNOUNCE PAYMENT CARD INTERFACE

Visa USA and Cabledata have jointly developed and will market a payment card interface to CableData's DDP/SQL customer management software product. Comcast Cable of Philadelphia and Cablevision of New York will test the system. The system will allow cable subscribers to pay cable bills by credit card and is designed to reduce non-payments and improve cash flow for service providers.
