KENAN ANNOUNCES NEW BENCHMARK RESULTS

Kenan Systems Corporation announced new benchmark results for its Arbor/BP customer care and billing system in February. Tests were conducted under the supervision of AT&T. Using a multi-server configuration, the system reportedly supported 15 million residential subscribers and processed more than 1.7 million call detail records in 2.1 hours. In a related test, Arbor/BP reportedly produced 256,000 invoices in nine hours. The tests were done at a Sun Microsystems facility, using Sun UNIX servers and Sybase SQL servers.
