IBM RELEASES COMPUTER TELEPHONY SOFTWARE
IBM released new versions of its CallPath and DirectTalk computer telephony software. The new versions provide advanced computer telephony and interactive voice response to streamline call centers. CallPath Version 2 supports Microsoft Windows NT, IBM's AIX and OS/2 Warp. DirectTalk for AIX Version 2 extends the number of RS/6000 models that can be selected as the platform for the interactive voice response system, and provides improved price performance on all RS6000s. CallPath also includes a Java Telephony development environment.
