AXIOM ACQUIRES SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Axiom Inc. announced that it has purchased Greendown Software Ltd. (GSL), a privately held company based in Hampshire, England. GSL markets its product is under the name TERESA, specializes in fraud management software. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed. GSL brings two customers, Cable and Wireless Communications and Comtel, to Axiom. Axiom acquired rights to TERESA in 1996 and re-branded as Sterling 7000, in mid-1997. GSL will keep its name and its base in England, but will now be part of the U.S.-based Axiom Revenue Assurance Business Unit.
