Ericsson Enterprise Networks introduced its Next call center, a new suite of server-based applications to provide skill-based routing and messaging and reporting capabilities across a virtual networked call center. Next call center is designed to run on Ericsson's Open Architecture Application Server Platform. In other news Ericsson has signed an agreement with Astea International for worldwide distribution of Astea's Abalon customer management system within the frame of Ericsson Consono Call Center.
