SUBSCRIBER INTRODUCES WIN-BASED SYSTEM

Subscriber Computing, Inc. (SCI) announced a new Wireless Intelligent Network (WIN) based prepaid billing system, that uses Oracle's scalable RDBMS technology on a Sun Solaris platform. The new system is designed to offer prepaid services without requiring an additional adjunct switching platform or additional trunk resources. A industry analyst predicts that more than ten percent of U.S. subscribers and forty percent of European subscribers will use prepayment methods by the year 2002. SCI's first instillation of the new system is scheduled for completion in 1Q 1998.
