LHS, BULL AND SOFRECOM PARTNER

LHS, Bull and Sofrecom announced that satellite operator Telecommunications par Satellites Mobiles of France, has selected the LHS product BSCS, based on the Sofrecom meditation device FCC, to provide billing and customer care and consulting services for telecommunications operator in Argentina, Columbia, France, Turkey, Peru and Venezuela belonging to TE.SA.M. Bull is the system integrator for the project. TE.SA.M. is a joint venture of France Telecom and Alcatel, and is a strategic partner in the Globalstar satellite mobile project. Globalstar is a digital communications system based on a constellation of 48 low earth orbit satellites providing worldwide coverage. In other news, LHS announced that Entel Telefonia Personal (ETP), the primary long distance carrier in Chile, licensed LHS BSCS customer care and billing system for initially up to 40,000 subscribers. It was LHS' first GSM Spanish language implementation in Latin America.
