TAI TO PROVISION ALLTEL, BELTEL

ALLTEL Communications Corporation has chosen St.-Louis-based Technology Applications, Inc. (TAI) to provide customer care and billing for its Internet customers. TAI's product CIM (Customer Information Management) will be used to track, rate and bill Internet usage and process electronic commerce transactions onto one bill. ALLTEL based in Arkansas provides wireline and wireless services to more than two million customers in 48 countries. In other news, the Beltel division of Telkom South Africa has also chosen TAI's CIM to provide billing services to its subscribers. Beltel provides Internet access and electronic commerce services to more than 65,000 customers throughout South Africa.
