ALABAMA CARRIER SIGNS CONTRACT WITH ITDS

DigiPH PCS in February signed a five-year contract with International Telecommunications Data Systems for ITDS’ service bureau BACC services. ITDS will convert the wireless carrier to the TRIS+ GSM system and Xcede/NP in addition to other options, such as selective messages and inserts. DigiPH, which has headquarters in Mobile, Ala., serves 22 contiguous counties in Alabama, Mississippi and Florida. In other news, ITDS has agreed to include Novazen Inc.’s Internet-based billing and customer care software in its service bureau products and services. Novazen, of Longmont, Colo., develops object- and component-based modules that allow Web interactive customer acquisition, billing, customer care and process control.
