COMCEL LICENSES LHS BILLING SOFTWARE

Comcel Comunicacion Cellular S.A. of Colombia recently licensed LHS’s client/server-based customer care and billing system, BSCS, to support Comcel’s TDMA-based wireless service for up to 1 million subscribers, LHS officials said. LHS partner CGI Group Inc. will provide an integrated customer care and billing system under a separate contract. CGI will act as the system integrator, responsible for customizing and implementing BSCS version 5.2 software.
