COX TO USE CSG BILLING SERVICES

Cox Communications recently signed a multiyear contract with CSG Systems International Inc. for licensed software, print and mail and other technical services, company officials said. Cox will license CSG’s Event Processing System, which allows a user to read event records in multiple formats from switches, voice processing units, routers and external record sources. The contract includes CSG’s Enhanced Statement Presentation software, a formatting product that combines customized message and design with state-of-the-art technology to provide a statement that can be used as a marketing and communications tool. CSG’s system will handle 1.7 million of Cox’s 3.8 million subscribers, company officials said.
