BIRCH TELECOM SIGNS CONTRACT WITH BILLING CONCEPTS

Billing Concepts has signed a contract for its Customer Access Billing System (CABS) with Birch Telecom. Birch will deploy the system for its operations in Kansas, Missouri and Texas, company officials said. The reports generated by CABS track records from the switch and from the other connecting company sources to the access bill. Ketchikan Public Utilities in Alaska also purchased the CABS system for its billing and customer care functions.
