HEWLETT-PACKARD CHOOSES PORTAL

Hewlett-Packard Co. has selected Portal Software as a partner for customer management and billing software for its new hosted Commerce for the Millennium service, which intends to help service providers offer electronic commerce services to small-and-medium-size businesses. Portal’s software will provide merchant self-provisioning functions that help service providers deploy multiple e-commerce sites.
