CELLULAR ONE SELECTS TELEMAC FOR PREPAID

Cellular Properties Inc., entered a licensing contract for prepaid cellular services with Telemac Corp. Telemac will let Cellular Properties implement and manage prepaid programs in Illinois, using Telemac’s handset-based prepaid system. Prepaid technology eliminates most hardware, software and traffic associated with requests for updated information, company officials said. Cellular Properties agreed to directly service customers without third-party involvement. The prepaid program will be introduced under the Cellular One brand name, company officials said.
