CONVERGYS, IBM FORM ALLIANCE

Convergys Corp. and IBM will co-market and deliver integrated billing and subscriber management systems for the wireless industry. The companies hope to give wireless carriers an integrated suite of billing and subscriber management software and services, advanced billing-specific systems management, systems integration, business transformation methodologies, tools, resources, and infrastructure. Convergys also signed an unrelated outsourcing agreement with AT&T Wireless Services Inc. to extend its contract for inbound customer care and related services by 80 months, to 2006. Financial term were not disclosed.
