CSG Systems Inc. recently signed an eight-year agreement with Austin, Texas-based Classic Cable Inc. to provide customer care and billing services for its 300,000 subscribers, CSG officials said. Classic will install a customer care and billing system, as well as CSG’s Electronic Statement Presentation, a tool designed to customize statements by tailoring logos, graphics and messaging on customer invoices. Under the agreement, Classic Cable will also install Vantage, a database designed to let carriers evaluate product and service performance, analyze customer habits, and transform raw data into real-time reports and graphs, a CSG spokesman said. In other news, CSG signed a six-year agreement with St. Louis-based Millennium Digital Media Systems, a residential broadband service provider with 140,000 subscribers in Maryland. Millennium will install CSG’s Advanced Customer Service Representative customer care system and CSG’s Vantage system. Financial terms of both contracts were not disclosed.
