TRANSPOINT GAINS MCIW, MOBIL, GTE

MCI WorldCom Inc., Mobil Oil Corp. and GTE customers can now receive and pay bills on-line through TransPoint LLC’s e-bill service over the Internet. The following companies are scheduled to go live with TransPoint by year-end: Time Warner Communications Mid-South Division, Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp., Denver Water and West Texas Utilities Co. TransPoint’s e-bill is designed to deliver formatted bills, statements and notices, with interactive advertising and marketing messages, to on-line consumers. It then returns payment and related information to the company or the company’s financial institution.
