BEA TO BUILD ADAPTER FOR PORTAL

Bea Systems Inc., an e-commerce transactions company, will develop an eLink adapter for Portal Software Inc.’s Infranet real-time customer management and billing system, company officials said.

Bea eLink is an enterprise application integration and business-to-business e-commerce suite that provides transaction support, application connectivity adapters, and multiple business process and data integration options.

The eLink adapter for Infranet is designed to allow customers to integrate Infranet applications through eLink with enterprise resource planning and other customer relationship management applications, mainframe-based applications and a variety of e-commerce technologies.
