Integral Access Inc. recently introduced its PurePacket Operations Management System (OMS). The system lets competitive carriers reduce lead time for entering new markets, accelerate service provisioning and activation, and create a portfolio of voice and data offerings. By leveraging the capabilities embedded in the PurePacket platform, network operators can rapidly activate voice and data services to build market share.
It also supports self-provisioning to let end users modify service parameters and view performance and billing information online. The system also maintains the status of available and allocated capacity for deployed and planned infrastructure configurations.
Operators can select a connection’s endpoints and apply a traffic contract template that specifies and provisions the network resources necessary to enable the service. It also automatically configures new elements added to the network by downloading service provisioning data to the device.
