XACCT, MER COMBINE FORCES

Xacct Technologies and MER Telemanagement Solutions Ltd. have entered into a strategic partnership. Under the agreement, XacctUsage, a metering and mediation system for IP networks, will be integrated with MTS’ systems to offer IT managers of large networks a unified management view and consolidated accounting for all its network resources. The MTS system tracks all communications traffic and expenses, detects and analyzes faults, and provides extensive reports to help network operators manage and control costs. MTS will use XacctUsage as part of its total management system for large-scale, mission-critical, converged voice and data network operations.
