Daleen Technologies Inc. has successfully completed a new performance optimization test for its BillPlex software on server and storage products from Hewlett-Packard Co. The tests demonstrated the system’s ability to support complex, usage-based voice and data services for communications providers with subscriber bases in excess of 5,000,000 access lines. Previous performance tests, conducted with Oracle, proved that BillPlex’s architecture could scale to over 1,500,000 access lines, company officials said.
In other news, AT&T Canada has selected Daleen’s eCare to support complex telecommunication services for a large enterprise customer. The system comprises a portal, which includes eCatalog, self-service ordering, electronic bill presentment and service portfolio management capabilities.
