ATS LAUNCHES REVENUE ASSURANCE SYSTEM

Advanced Technologies and Services Inc. recently launched its Mechanized Translations Platform, (MTP), a set of revenue assurance and network integrity products. At least one major carrier is using the tool, which has the working project name of Golden Eye. The carrier uses the system to fully automate the opening and closing of new NPA/NXX codes in its Nortel DMS and Lucent 5E switches.

The MTP system imports data from such sources as the Local Exchange Routing Guide and interfaces to the switches. MTP, interacting with the switches, performs translations that in some cases reduce a month’s work to a few hours, says ATS President Randy Guthrie.
