South African telco Autopage will use LHS’ BSCS 5.21. Autopage offers telecommunication services to GSM network operators Vodacom and MTN South Africa. The system implementation will support two CDR formats. Vodacom and MTN plan to retain their accustomed formats, with Autopage operating the customer billing and all other service offerings.
Mobilcom, a GSM operator and subsidiary of the Jordanian Telecom Company, also will use BSCS 5.21. Andersen Consulting will be the systems integrator. LHS will assume all of the billing and service functions on the Mobilcom mobile network.
Cosmote, a Greek GSM operator, will use ConVerge, LHS’ software for customer acquisition and point of sale, in conjunction with BSCS 5.21. Cap Gemini will be the systems integrator for that project.
