Lucent Technologies and Oracle Corp. plan to develop and market a CRM and billing software system. The companies will integrate Oracle’s E-Business Suite and Lucent’s Kenan Arbor/BP billing system to combine customer and billing data into a single system. It will be designed to give service providers an accurate view of critical sales, customer and financial information. The data can be used to improve customer service and reduce the integration and maintenance costs of establishing cross-enterprise business management systems, company officials said.
