SBC AND E-PLUS TO USE AMDOCS’ HORIZON

Amdocs will implement IAF Horizon, its billing, rating, customer care and service management system, for SBC Internet Services, Southwestern Bell’s business ISP.

The system is designed to support Web hosting, virtual private networks and dedicated products for large and medium-sized corporate customers, as well residential and small business DSL customers.

German mobile carrier E-Plus Mobilfunk GmbH also will use Amdocs’ IAF Horizon for GPRS billing. The system is designed to provide mobile IP functionality, including account structures, virtual service provider support and payment processing to enable automated revenue sharing, mobile commerce and sponsored business models.
