Micromuse released Version 1.1 of its Netcool for Security Management system with more ways to view and assimilate data pertaining to security threats and the IT environment’s status. Features of the new release are designed for more control and ways to locate and track information, such as viewing all events with an IP address using user-defined parameters, seeing all events associated with a particular threat event and creating graphical fingerprinting of all threat events.
