Remember the BSPs? Those are the entities that compete with existing cable systems using state-of-the-art bundled services such as video, voice and high-speed Internet access, but they aren’t cable TV networks. The FCC reports that the largest of these companies are, from the top down: RCN, with approximately 507,000 customers; WideOpenWest (WOW), with 313,000 subscribers; and Knology, which serves 120,000 subscribers.
