Brix Networks announced a new offering to support Carrier Ethernet services with the scalable management of service turn-up initiatives, network and customer service level agreements (SLAs), and visibility across multiple networks to help in their transition from legacy infrastructures to next-generation networks.
The BrixNGN solution allows providers that are focused on cellular backhaul and managed services to conduct automated and on-demand testing, service performance monitoring, and trouble-shooting of their bandwidth-intensive offerings, including inter-carrier peering, wholesale backbone services, private line over Ethernet, and VoIP backhaul.
“Two-thirds of those surveyed in our recent study indicated that assuring customer end-to-end quality of service along with guaranteeing SLAs are the top two barriers to deploying inter-Carrier Ethernet services on a large scale,” said Michael Howard, principal analyst and co-founder of Infonetics Research.
