In order to reduce operational costs, identify potential deployment issues and accelerate the roll-out of SIP trunking to enterprise customers, tekVizion Labs unveiled a new verification program this week.

The company claims the verification lab is the first of its kind to provide independent and objective interoperability verification and testing services for next-generation VoIP and IMS products. The purpose of the program is to promote interoperability among PBX SIP trunks and service provider networks.

Equipped with a variety of vendors’ PBXs, firewalls and gateways, the program will validate SIP trunking. In addition to verifying network resiliency and DTMF interoperability, the product will also validate features such as call forwarding, transfer, three-party conferencing and calling name.
