Redknee Solutions Inc. has launched IP Rating and Charging (IPRC) 5.0.
The company said IPRC integrates advanced subscriber-based policy control with real-time rating and charging into one coherent solution for multimedia IP-based services. In addition to this dual capability, IPRC 5.0 offers a centralized configuration management platform that allows operators to simplify the handling of complex policy and rating criteria.
Mobile operators deploying the new product can now control bandwidth requirements on a service or application level per subscriber and tie them directly to real-time rating rules, Redknee said.

The features of IPRC 5.0 can create new revenue streams for operators, from both prepaid and postpaid subscribers and across multiple access technologies, Redknee said.
The integrated solution reduces implementation costs while enabling improved quality of service levels.
Through such advanced capabilities as “Fair Usage Policies,” mobile operators can now efficiently manage network resources by segmenting their subscriber base by usage or value level as well as allocating capacity for their mission critical applications and services.
