Veraz Networks Inc. said Verint Systems has joined its partnership program as a “deployment-ready” member of the Veraz Open Solution Alliance (VOSA).
Veraz and Verint are providing an integrated solution that enables service providers to comply with existing and anticipated mandatory lawful intercept (LI) policies set forth by CALEA (Communications Assistance to Law Enforcement Act) in the United States, by ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute) in Europe, and by other regulatory bodies around the world.
The Veraz-Verint lawful interception solution is deployed in live networks in a number of countries around the world, including a deployment for a leading wireless service provider in India, the companies said.
To ensure carrier-grade lawful intercept capability for IMS networks, Verint's STAR-GATEÔ Communications Interception Solution successfully completed rigorous interoperability testing with the Veraz ControlSwitch products and the I-Gate 4000 media gateways.
