Choice Wireless of Wichita Falls, Texas, and GTA Teleguam of Guam recently deployed network management solutions from Telsasoft to manage their GSM and GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks, respectively.

The two mobile operators are among nearly 30 communications providers – mostly mobile operators -- using Telasoft’s OSS.

Telsasoft's OSS products use 64-bit Linux SuSE operating system and employ Microsoft .NET clients. The architecture places a server at the center of all the network elements. The server talks to every device in the network and assembles a raw database for alarms and metrics, then prepares information for display and performs paging out to the tech-on-call or any particular alarm event or issue.

The Microsoft .NET client is loaded on machines used in the NOC or by engineers and managers – each will definable access permissions. Users see their alarms and metrics on maps and can graph data.
