Visage Mobile, a provider of mobility and subscriber management solutions, today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its subscriber management business to Convergys Corp. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
Founded in 2001, Visage Mobile’s first product was the Visage Subscriber Management Platform for MVNOs. Last month Visage Mobile launched MobilityCentral, an on-demand software solution designed to help enterprises monitor and manage their mobility assets and services. Proceeds from the sale of the subscriber management business unit will be used to grow Visage's MobilityCentral business.
Convergys and Visage Mobile previously worked together on the Disney Mobile venture, which was shuttered at the end of last year, and currently both support Embarq Corp. Convergys has has assumed Visage Mobile's contract with Embarq.
