Convergys Corp. (CVG) has signed a $15 million, three-year deal with a Canadian company to provide Relationship Management solutions to the company’s business-to-business customers.
Convergys will provide top-tier customer service and technical support in two languages through its contact centers in Canada. It will replace an underperforming customer service provider in order to improve its client’s customer satisfaction scores. Convergys also will reduce its customer’s costs and drive revenue growth using specialized training tools developed for customer service agents servicing B2B customers.
“This key client has recognized Convergys as a solid, long-term business partner with the resources available to help it meet tough profitability targets from a demanding customer segment,” said Igor Sarenac, vice president of business development for Convergys in Canada.
In 2008, Convergys announced that it had placed special emphasis on attracting and expanding business among companies headquartered in Canada. This contract is a result of that focused effort.
