Convergys Corporation, which began life as Cincinnati Bell Information Systems (CBIS), renewed its contract for Relationship Management Services with its former parent this week.

The new contract with Cincinnati Bell runs for five years, extending the 10-year-old contract through 2013. The deal also contains two one-year renewal options.

As part of the renewal, Convergys will continue to provide state-of-the-art processing services including provisioning, activation, usage management and billing for Cincinnati Bell’s wide range of services and bundled offerings. Convergys will also provide wireline and wireless application development and maintenance services.

Cincinnati Bell provides integrated communications solutions ─ including local, long distance, data, Internet, and wireless services in Greater Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio. Convergys is now a member of the S&P 500 and has been voted a Fortune Most Admired Company for eight consecutive years. It has approximately 75,000 employees in 87 customer contact centers and other facilities in the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Its global headquarters is in Cincinnati.
