Martin Group Cuts Ribbon on InterOp Lab

Martin Group will hold an exclusive open house next week for clients to observe its new InterOperability (InterOp) Lab in Mitchell, S.D. The company and its suppliers will demonstrate the end-to-end environment and the interoperability of systems used by leading communications providers required to provide advanced services.

InterOp Lab suppliers, including ADTRAN, Calix, Conklin-Intracom, Foundry, Infinity Security Solutions, Occam Networks, Pannaway and Zhone Technologies will share their knowledge and expertise.

ADTRAN will present a session called “The Total Access 5000: From POTS to PON.” It will highlight ADTRAN’s flagship Multi-Service Access and Aggregation Platform (MSAP) and how it can be used for triple-play service delivery. Calix will have its access solutions on display and be presenting on how they are helping service providers deliver a Unified Access Infrastructure.

Conklin-Intracom will demonstrate its fs|cdn IPTV middleware and conditional access solution, focusing on back-office operations, ecosystem integration and delivery of non-traditional revenue generating applications. Foundry Networks will present its recently announced NetIron CES 2000 multi-service edge switch. Infinity Security will deliver a building block approach to affordable network security for performance-demanding applications  at the edge or inside the network  as traditional borders dissolve. Pannaway Networks will discuss building core networks that support current and future access technologies and conduct a brief demonstration. Zhone will present their Multi-Service Access Platform (MSAP) products, including Sky Zhone WiFi and EFM Solutions. And Occam Networks adds broadband access solutions that empower service providers to offer profitable new voice, data, and video services over copper and fiber.
