PT Telekomunikasi, Indonesia’s largest information and communication company, has renewed and expanded its contract for Convergys’ relationship management solutions. Convergys will implement Infinys Active Mediation for 63 million PT Telekomunikasi wireless customers.
With the new Convergys solutions in place, the Indonesian operator says its customers will enjoy new flexibility in bundling popular services, such as voice-grade telephone service (POTS) and digital subscriber lines (DSL), as well as pre- and post-paid fixed wireless services. In turn, PT Telekomunikasi can cross-sell its products and provide flexible discounting to its subscribers in real-time.
“This new project with Convergys will provide a platform for our high value subscribers. It will allow us to offer unique bundled service packages in line with our efforts to introduce new and innovative marketing campaigns that promote our current services offering,” said Judi Rifajantoro, senior general manager, IS Center, PT Telekomunikasi. “The success of this project is very important in the achievement of our goals and objectives as the leading telco operator in Indonesia.”

This is the first deployment of Convergys’ Infinys Active Mediation in the Asia Pacific region. Convergys is serving as the system integrator for the implementations at PT Telekomunikasi. Convergys has already started the project and expects to complete the work by the end of 2008.
