Verizon (VZ) says it’s been named among the top U.S. companies most trusted to protect customer privacy.
Research firm Ponemon Institute and online privacy evaluator TRUSTe conducted the survey, which found Verizon to be the highest-ranked communications company for being the most trustworthy and for doing the best job safeguarding personal information.
The companies surveyed nearly 6,500 adults.
