Cedar Point Communications, a provider of integrated VoIP switching technologies for service providers and enterprise telecommunications operators, and Blueslice, a provider of subscriber management solutions for mobile, VoIP, FMC and M2M networks, have announced they are teaming to integrate Blueslice’s HSS 3000 subscriber management system with Cedar Point’s Safari C3 solution. This will enable both companies to offer carriers with wireline, mobile and cable properties the opportunity to deploy fused services, seamlessly across wired and wireless networks.
“Today, most services providers are offering bundled services; however, they need to evolve to provide multimodal, multimedia, multiparty services or ‘fused’ services to satisfy the emerging demand from consumers,” explained Mark Tubinis, CTO at Cedar Point.
Blueslice’s HSS 3000 is the central subscriber database in IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) networks. The Blueslice’s HSS 3000 provides control and intelligence within mobile and fixed networks and the management of multiple profiles per subscription. It has the ability to support 6 million subscribers on one individual ATCA chassis.
Cedar Point has shipped more than four million SAFARI C3 lines to customers in the Americas, the Caribbean and Europe. SAFARI C3 supports up to 250,000 lines of capacity in less than a cubic meter of space, incorporating all of the components that make up the voice switching infrastructure.
