Embarq Corp. (EQ) has selected Alcatel-Lucent (ALU) as the single point of contact for network maintenance. It includes Remote Technical Support for most of Embarq’s equipment across an 18-state region.
Alcatel-Lucent says its Multivendor Maintenance solution enables EMBARQ to use its own resources more efficiently and reduce operating expenses.
The project should be finished by the end of March.
