UDP, a billing and OSS provider, recently announced that Doak Field has joined the company as its newest vice president.
Field will head up Sales and Business Development. He is responsible for formulating and implementing UDP’s sales and marketing strategies.
“I am very excited about the opportunity to be part of the UDP team. My job is to show prospective customers why partnering with UDP makes perfect business sense,” said Field.
Field has more than 19 years of telecom industry experience, including work with a number of long distance companies such as MCI, AT&T and Sprint. His most recent endeavor was running the business group of Time Warner Cable in San Antonio.
On a personal note, the Baylor University grad is a former linebacker in the NFL and USFL.
