Service providers can now leave service performance and the user experience up to their managed services provider, provided they’ve contracted with Nokia Siemens Networks, which launched Managed Service Operations and Assurance at Mobile World Congress Monday.

The service looks to address three key challenges for services providers: the efficient management of end user service operations, assurance of service quality, and profitability of end user services.

Managed Service Operations and Assurance will enable service providers to monitor, report and analyze service performance and user experience, provide structured problem solving and troubleshooting, and also offer a proactive performance optimization service.

Ashish Chowdhary, head of Managed Services at Nokia Siemens Networks, said that as the subscriber market becomes more fragmented and the demand for high quality services increases, assured service quality is becoming one of the key factors in a user’s decision to stay with a provider and that Nokia Siemens Networks’ managed services can take over the critical tasks of ensuring service quality while letting service providers focus on their business strategies.
