TeleSphere Software, Inc. and Kansys, Inc. announced at the COMPTEL PLUS Convention & Expo in Dallas that they have partnered to offer a revenue assurance and CABS billing package called TAXI-CAB, that focuses on network usage.
Addressing the problem that usage solutions today are fragmented models that fail to account for all of the complexities and interdependencies necessary to understand usage and carrier access, the TAXI-CAB solution addresses three areas of network management: usage mediation and validation, intercarrier access billing and revenue assurance data warehousing and reporting. Together as an interconnected process, they provide an understanding of all network events and allow a carrier to analyze the cost versus revenue received for products, services and customers.
The joint solution solves known problems caused by these systems working in isolation, including little visibility into what other systems are doing, not incorporating records from other network sources and not being aware of what wasn’t billed, resulting in lost revenue.
